The brushless motor is composed of the motor body and the driver, because the brushless motor uses the automatic mode of operation, so there is no need to use the frequency conversion speed regulation mode of the heavy-duty starting motor on the rotor additional starting winding, and will not cause oscillation or out-of-step due to load mutations.


The brushless motor uses a semiconductor switching device to realize electronic commutation, that is, the electronic switching device replaces the traditional contact commutator and brush. The brushless motor consists of a permanent magnet rotor, a multipole winding stator and a position sensor. According to the change of the rotor position, the position sensor converts the stator winding current in a certain sequence (that is, detects the position of the rotor magnetic pole relative to the stator winding, generates the position detection signal, is controlled by the signal conversion circuit to the power switch circuit, and the winding current is switched according to a certain logical relationship). The operating voltage of the stator windings is provided by an electronic switching circuit controlled by the position sensor output.


Brushless motor has high reliability, no commutation spark, low mechanical noise, and is widely used in high-grade video recorders, video recorders, electronic instruments and automated office equipment. Here is a particular point to explain is that many people think that brushless motor is DC motor, so it is called "brushless DC motor", in fact, brushless motor is an AC motor, it is a three-phase AC permanent magnet motor.
